Chocolate Breath

While milling around online going from one place to another looking for some fall inspiration I ran across this, by googling the phrase “Never give up on your stupid stupid dreams” .. and looking at the images it brings up. I understand this is kind of lame, but it amuses me for shorts amounts of time.
Anyhow
As I was following my stupid stupid dreams I ran into this.
Breathable chocolate
Now of course, my first thought when finding this was “ew”... not so distant memories of scratch and sniff chocolate scented stickers come to mind actually. But I’m assured that it is nothing like huffing fragrance oils, but actual chocolate flavor in a breathable form.. for when you need a hit.
Packaged in a lipstick like tube, you pull both ends to open and use l as an inhaler to get your chocolate fix.. or your coffee fix.. or your caffeine fix. In fact, the coffee is said to contain 18mg caffeine, thought it is unclear to me if this is per puff or the entire 8 uses it provides. Another article I read claims that each hit contains 100mg caffeine, which is as much as a single shot of espresso. Either way Im all for it. However 8 cups of espresso in under 5 minutes might become an issue if each whiff is truly equal to a shot of espresso... and I Don't believe the coffee comes in flavors other than straight black coffee. So, not too much of a concern for myself. I'm sure to control myself.
Thomas D. Hadfield, Le Whif’s global operations manager said that the company plans to launch new flavors this year and hopes to produce an inhalable three-course meal in the indefinite future... I’m hoping it ends with blueberry pie.
They can be purchased here http://www.laboshop.fr/lewhif.html
So now, having bought my inhaleable chocolate.... virtually calorie free chocolate.. I’m following my stupid stupid dreams. But am I anywhere closer to finding that holiday inspiration I so need to make soap?
Heck yes... I'm going to start with hot Chocolate scented in and and brown with marshmallows floating around on top.. it will be dreamy!

Cookies And milk

* June 26- July 4th, receive one free Oatmeal Cookie Jar with every order!

A few weeks ago while getting my quad soy vanilla latte from Starbucks I did something. I did something new.
I got a cookie.
I do love oatmeal cookies!
And these ones! With cranberries, golden raisins and not a single walnut in site~@
A little Sugar, A little spice and it really is quite nice!

So with this cookie in mind, I went to the workshop.
I got out the Milk powder, scented it with ginger, nutmeg and brown sugar. Added finely ground oatmeal, epsom salts , soda, sweet almond oil, cocoa butter and a titch of citric to make it fizzle and swoosh all the buttery milky oatie goodness through the bath.

A few candy sprinkles on top and I've got the perfect oatmeal cookie for my milk bath!

Offered in the 8 Oz. size jar.

So today..from June 26- July 4th, receive one free Oatmeal Cookie Jar with every order!
Shipping to anywhere in the US is always just 5.00.

In the month of August we will be giving out a free 4 Oz. sample in the Out of the Box sampler along with so many other wonderful contributors!

Today while having my morning coffee I decided to open a package that came on Monday, while I was away, watching fish and otters at the waterfront Seattle aquarium, buying things I didn't actually need at Uwajimaya and driving around towns hoping I would find what I was was looking for. The freeway. And, being in the right lane at the right time as the mad rush of traffic was a bit..well... scary.

I'm just out of practice. Its been awhile since I’ve been in Seattle traffic. Alone. With no one complaining from the passenger seat, “why did you go this way, you were suppose to take a right on Grady, how did you get here, we should be on the other side of town, do you want me to just drive”. Notice the word Just..that means he’s had enough and is fed up with my inability to motor around without his constant directions. Because I’m nowhere near where I’m suppose to be. And though I enjoy getting lost. He, does not.

Not that real kind of lost where I don’t have any idea where I’ve gone or how I will get back. Its knowing exactly where I am but Im not quite sure how to get to where I want to be. Everything looks familiar but how do I get out of it, kind of lost.

Kind of like Dieting. Knowing I have to start eating and acting differently. Getting up at 5 rather than 6 so that I can get in a nice “walk” with one of the dogs. Go for an imaginary bike ride..pretend to jog at my local athletic club. Do I eat the apple or the deep fried Zucchini. You know you should eat the apple ...but the zucchini is..well its deep fried. Does it need any more explanation?

But anyhow...

I open the package, which Im hoping is my SLSA for bubbly goodness or the small package of jars. I hoping for the new boxes for my bath in a box.

But no.

To my disappointment it is the almost free diapers and the beginning of the end of my fat self with Alli. And then the silliness kicks in when I realize I bought Alli with a package of diapers.

So I eye my coffee and decide it would be ok to have the Krispy Kreme doughnuts too... it would be the last time for some time, without the fear of pooping myself publicly later in the day.
And to further justify this to myself I think, they are Krispy Kreme from Issaquah, not Spokane. So much better. I'm not exactly sure why. Perhaps its a density thing, not as airy and less frosting... this reasoning certainly aided in my decision to have 2 doughnuts with my coffee.. which was crazy. I wanted shredded wheat.

I really did.

I heart shredded wheat more so than I do doughnuts. Unless the said doughnuts are covered in cinnamon AND sugar. Then they win out, hands down, with little effort or thought. Which is why I'm thinking my fat self needs a break from..myself.

I think I may skip the alli along with the fried zucchini and doughnuts. I'm sure it would be for the best.

A Portable Alarm Clock that Runs on Water | Woman Tribune
This would be perfect for...well..someone like myself who always seems to unplug the alarm. I'm very crafty when I'm asleep. And besides, its colorful, green friendly and very portable!

How I use Bauble Body Scrubs

I love the bauble body scrubs... kind of creamy and soft.
There is something about the texture that makes me feel like I’m using something in the bath that is so wrong..like frosting with sprinkles. I love frosting with sugar sprinkles..not so much the colorful shapes and dots. I have found myself on my third cupcake, just for the sugar sprinkled frosting.
And yes, I know..that is wrong but it tastes so right...as long as there is no crisco involved.
Anyhow...
This is how I use my bauble body scrubs.
I start the bath and start my exfoliation before I ever get wet. I start with my legs than my torso and my arms.... I get good & scrubbed then sit down in my bath water and let the heat do its magic.. It makes the whole room smell heavenly, the bath water becomes creamy and I get to relax and just enjoy thinking about ...
Should I really share this? Because Im kind of a dork.
I imagine it would be better to romanticize about the spring and dream of somewhere that has long beaches and Mai Tais... but I don’t. I think about how Elmo usurped the affection that once belonged to Grover and if I plant a garden this year will I really have time to take care of it or will it just be a wild jungle for the dogs to hunt for beetles?
